TOP 10 Best Free keywords research tools

Since my last knowledge update in September 2021, several free keyword research tools have become available. Please note that the availability and functionality of these tools may have changed since then. Here are some popular ones:

 1. Google Keyword Planner:

This tool is provided by Google Ads and intended for advertisers, but it can also be used for keyword research. It provides search volume data, competition, and suggested bid estimates for keywords.

2. Ubersuggest

Ubersuggest provides keyword suggestions, search volume, competitive analysis, and backlink data. It also provides information about the top-ranking pages for a given keyword.

3. Keyword Surfer:

This Chrome extension displays search volume estimates directly in Google search results, along with related keywords and their volume.

4. AnswerThePublic:

This tool visualizes keyword-related queries and search terms. This is especially useful for understanding the type of user query on a particular topic.

 5. Keyword.io:

This tool generates keyword ideas by pulling data from various sources including Google Autocomplete, Bing, etc.

6. Soovle:

Soovle displays keyword suggestions from multiple search engines and platforms on one page, which helps identify trends across different platforms.

7. LSI Graph:

LSI (Lently Semantic Indexing) chart helps you find related keywords and phrases that can help improve the relevancy of your content.

 8. Keyword Shitter:

Despite its unusual name, this tool generates a large number of keyword suggestions based on the information you enter.

9. Keywords Everywhere:

This browser extension provides search volume, CPC (cost-per-click), and competition data right in your browser when you search.

10. Google Trends:

While not strictly a keyword research tool, Google Trends allows you to discover a keyword's popularity over time. This can help understand seasonal or long-term keyword trends.

Keep in mind that the effectiveness of these tools may vary depending on your specific needs and the current state of the Internet. You should use a combination of tools to put together a comprehensive keyword list for your research. Always check out recent reviews and resources to make sure the tools you're interested in are still up-to-date and relevant.
